Hybrid | Flexible Locations: Denver, CO or Seattle, WA
Base pay range: $140,000.00/yr - $180,000.00/yr
An early‑stage company in the satellite software space is hiring a
Mission Integration Engineer
to play a key role in enabling complex satellite missions across both government and commercial domains.
You’ll work across mission architecture, ground systems integration, customer onboarding, and launch‑readiness—translating technical requirements into operational reality.
The company’s platform simplifies satellite operations with cloud‑based command & control tools that support real‑time, multi‑asset missions.
As part of a small but impactful team, you’ll guide end‑to‑end integration: from architecture planning and interface definition to mission simulations and on‑console early‑orbit support.
Responsibilities
Lead technical integration for satellite missions across ground, space, and cloud assets
Act as a mission SME for customer onboarding, from pre‑launch to operations
Develop ICDs, support V&V processes, and contribute to mission readiness documentation
Coordinate with engineering, product, and mission partners to ensure successful deployment
Feed insights back into product development based on recurring mission needs
Qualifications
5+ years in mission integration or systems engineering within the space domain
Experience with satellite ground systems, TT&C, and mission operations tools
Hands‑on with scripting (Python/Bash) and cloud deployments (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS)
Strong cross‑functional communication and customer‑facing skills
Active security clearance required
This is a hybrid role with flexibility across four U.S. offices.
You’ll get meaningful ownership, a direct impact on active missions, and the chance to shape a growing platform redefining satellite ops.
Seniority level: Mid‑Senior level | Employment type: Full‑time | Industries: Defense and Space Manufacturing, Space Research and Technology, Software Development.
