The Chief Engineer is ABM's primary point of contact for day-to-day operations. The Chief will drive continual improvements to the operation by creating an expectation of learning and development of their team members. Basic Qualifications

Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or related technical field, or five (5) years of equivalent experience Five (5) years of Team Management experience Entry level Engineers with Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or related field and no work experience Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or related technical field with three (3) years of work experience is preferred Without a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or related technical field, seven (7) years of experience is preferred Responsibilities

Oversee all aspects of the facility’s critical physical infrastructure Oversee the development and accuracy of site-level operating procedures and other documentation Supervise and elevate as needed ABM’s response to after-hours emergencies at assigned facilities Manage the Change Management Program Manage the MOP, SOP and EOP Program Audit all CMMS databases for accuracy and completeness, produce reports as required at customer request, control system access and user credentials Effectively and efficiently manage the operations budget and expenditures of assigned contracts Manage the complete physical assets pertaining to the Operation and Maintenance of the critical and non-critical infrastructure equipment and systems Resolve all electrical, mechanical and Fire Protection System issues in the facilities while minimizing risk and business impact and communicate issues to management and customers in a timely manner Manage the customer relationship and act as the single point-of-contact for all facility-related issues, including schedules, new business, projects, budgets, expansion, and staffing Set, review and approve employee work / PTO schedules; audit and process employee time and payroll Manage access to the facilities ensuring the appropriate access control lists are maintained and reviewed regularly Make space and power recommendations to the customer and manage power and cooling capacity and environmental conditions Ensure compliance of Customer SLA parameters and Change Control activities, review and approve all system changes (set-points, thresholds, alarm-points, etc.) which could impact customer operations Ensure that ABM training expectations are met and audit the process monthly Identify, vet, and approve all sub-contractors who will perform work on-site Develop PM contract scopes-of-work, ensure contract terms are fulfilled Military and veteran friendly employer, veterans and candidates with military experience encouraged to apply.
