This role will be responsible for driving the Regeneron Manufacturing (IOPS) AI strategy, overseeing AI capability development, and ensuring the successful realization and integration of AI solutions across the IOPS organization. The director will have a strong background in AI and machine learning with a proven track record of applying these technologies to solve complex problems. Responsibilities
Develop and execute a comprehensive AI roadmap aligned with IOPS business goals, identifying key AI capabilities for the organization and prioritizing projects. Collaborate with key stakeholders to translate business needs into actionable AI strategies and integrate AI solutions into existing systems. Decide on building or acquiring AI capabilities to ensure present and future business needs are met. Establish AI best practices and guidelines to ensure quality, security, and compliance with regulations. Lead and mentor a high-performing team of AI engineers fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning. Delegate tasks effectively, manage project timelines, budgets, and monitor team performance. Oversee the full AI lifecycle, from data collection and preprocessing to model development, deployment, and monitoring. Qualifications
Proven experience in leading AI and Intelligent Automation initiatives with a strong track record of successful AI solutions. Experience managing high-performance teams of AI engineers. Familiarity with Responsible AI principles and a commitment to delivering data and AI solutions that adhere to these guidelines. Deep understanding of AI algorithms, machine learning techniques (deep learning, natural language processing, computer vision), and related software frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch). Proficiency in programming languages like Python, experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and knowledge of software development methodologies. Excellent ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, including executives, and effectively advocate for AI initiatives. Strong understanding of business drivers and ability to align AI solutions with strategic goals. Experience Levels
Associate Director: 10+ years industry experience. Director: 12+ years industry experience. Experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturing, medical device manufacturing, or life sciences regulated environment required. Salary
$145,600.00 - $282,600.00 annually Benefits
