Northside Charter High School seeks an enthusiastic and dedicated Math Teacher for the 2025‑2026 academic year. The ideal candidate will inspire students to develop strong mathematical reasoning and problem‑solving skills through engaging lessons and collaborative activities. Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging, standards‑aligned lessons in mathematics, which may include Algebra, Geometry, Pre‑Calculus, Calculus, and Statistics, depending on expertise.

Foster a classroom culture that encourages curiosity, critical thinking, and a growth mindset in mathematics.

Help students build foundational math skills and apply mathematical concepts to solve real‑world problems.

Design and administer assessments to evaluate student progress, provide timely and constructive feedback, and tailor instruction to meet diverse learning needs.

Adapt instruction to accommodate various learning levels and styles, ensuring all students are supported and challenged.

Maintain an organized, respectful, and positive learning environment.

Work with colleagues to align curriculum, share resources, and participate in professional learning communities.

Maintain open and proactive communication with parents and guardians about student progress and classroom activities.

Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in mathematics instruction and pedagogy.

Participate in school events, committees, and initiatives to contribute to the broader school culture.

Qualifications Required

Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field.

Valid teaching certification for secondary mathematics (or ability to obtain certification before the start date).

Strong knowledge of mathematical concepts and effective teaching practices.

Preferred

Master's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field.

Experience teaching Advanced Placement (AP) math courses or dual‑credit courses.

Familiarity with integrating technology into mathematics instruction.
