What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
Direct a comprehensive research portfolio focused on assessing offensive cyber capabilities of AI models
Manage significant research budgets and personnel for complex technical projects
Lead multidisciplinary teams in developing systems to evaluate AI model performance across the attack lifecycle
Communicate findings through detailed technical analyses and quick-turnaround policy briefs
Drive responsible AI policy by delivering evaluations commissioned by government agencies
What is Required (Qualifications):
6+ years of technical experience in security engineering, software engineering, firmware engineering, hardware engineering, or related fields
6+ years of technical management experience, including leading cross-functional teams and managing project budgets
Proven ability to successfully lead complex projects to completion
Proficiency in Python, Java, C/C++, or other popular programming languages
Strong communication skills in English, both verbally and in writing
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
Graduate of the Computer Network Operations Development Program (CNODP) or equivalent training
Experience with advanced persistent threat (APT) tactics and defending against them
Creative thinking about offensive and defensive techniques beyond compliance
Experience in AI research, ML model training, or model deployment
