Anduril’s Deployment Operations group is seeking a Technical Operations Engineer to join our team. This is a Costa Mesa based role and not eligible for remote/hybrid work. The role involves deploying and supporting Anduril’s products globally, working with products early in their lifecycle, and collaborating with engineering teams to iteratively improve them. You will take ownership of delivering technical solutions and guide users through product employment and troubleshooting, while advising account managers on operational structure for technical success and communicating product refinement needs to engineering teams. You must be both a teacher and a learner, coaching teammates on systems you know well and then mastering new systems as they arise. Deploy and support Anduril’s products globally, working with products early in their lifecycle. Collaborate with engineering teams to iteratively improve products based on field feedback. Coach teammates on systems, guide users through product use and troubleshooting, and explain technical concepts clearly. Advise account managers on operational structures to ensure technical success. Communicate specific recommendations for product refinement to engineering teams. Required Qualifications
Ability to gather requirements from end-users and communicate complex subjects with clarity. Build trust cross-functionally, navigate customer hierarchies, and influence teams. Proven ability to master a technical system and support it in austere environments; self-sufficiency across a broad technical system. Strong problem-solving ability at the hardware/software/networking interface; drive vague technical problems to clarity and resolution. Independent learner with the ability to research and acquire new technical components or concepts. Ability to develop complex operational and logistics plans for moving people and equipment quickly over long distances in unfamiliar locations. Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret/Top Secret security clearance. Willingness to travel to remote regions for up to two months at a time (up to 80% of the year). Ability to meet health and medical requirements in advance of deployments in accordance with DFARS 252.225-7040, DoDI 3020.41, and/or regional requirements. Preferred Qualifications
B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. Prior military or overseas contracting experience. Familiarity with Linux OS and ability to obtain data from software platforms using command-line tools. Strong mechanical aptitude with tools and electronics. Compensation and Benefits
US Salary Range:
$112,000—$168,000 USD The salary range is an estimate based on base salary factors; actual offers may vary by experience, education, skills, and business considerations. Equity grants are included in most full-time offers as part of total compensation.
