XP3R
XP3R is a fast‑growing Data & AI consulting firm building next‑generation analytics systems, intelligent automations, and agentic AI for enterprise clients. We operate with a unique blend of deep technical rigor and fast, entrepreneurial execution.
We build data models, automations, AI agents, APIs, and accelerators that solve real business problems end‑to‑end. Every person here is a builder, thinker, and owner. If you want to work in an environment where your impact shows up immediately in client systems, internal IP, and productized R&D, this is the right team.
Role Overview We're searching for an Automation & Agentic AI Engineer who can design and implement intelligent agent workflows, automations, lightweight backend logic, and data‑powered pipelines. You’ll build hands‑on solutions across AI platforms, cloud environments, and modern data systems.
This role sits at the intersection of AI agents, automation engineering, backend integration, and data modeling. You will work closely with senior architects but own your builds end‑to‑end.
What You Will Build You will work across XP3R’s automation and AI ecosystem to build:
AI & Agentic Systems Custom AI agents in Copilot Studio, AI Foundry, and Fabric Data Agents. Multi‑step agent workflows, reasoning loops, memory usage, retrieval logic, and evaluation checks. High‑precision prompts, instructions, safety rules, and system behavior patterns.
Automations & Orchestrations PowerAutomate and n8n flows that orchestrate multi‑system logic. Automated data workflows and pipelines to support agent context and business processes. End‑to‑end integrations between enterprise apps, APIs, and XP3R systems. Custom Python automation scripts for data processing, API interactions, scheduled jobs, and orchestration. Lightweight backend APIs (FastAPI, Flask, Azure Functions) to extend agent functionality. Custom connectors for Copilot Studio, PowerAutomate, and internal tools.
Data Layer & Modeling Data models, semantic layers, and Fabric components used by agents. Retrieval pipelines, embedding stores, RAG configurations, and search/index patterns.
Documentation & IP Development Architecture diagrams, flow specs, integration contracts, and reusable templates. Contributions to XP3R’s accelerators, internal tooling, and emerging product ideas.
What We're Looking For Experience 2–4 years (or equivalent capability demonstrated through projects).
Required Technical Skills Solid SQL and data modeling fundamentals; ability to understand how data structures power workflows. Hands‑on experience with Python for automation, integrations, or backend logic. Experience building automations in PowerAutomate, n8n, or similar tools. Familiarity with AI agent frameworks (Copilot Studio, Fabric Data Agents, AI Foundry, LangChain, or equivalent). Understanding of structured data platforms: Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Snowflake, or similar. Ability to design and publish APIs (FastAPI, Flask, Azure Functions). Strong grasp of prompt engineering, tool calling, retrieval logic, and multi‑step agent workflows. Understanding of semantic modeling, Medallion Architecture, or structured data pipeline patterns.
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have) Experience configuring or deploying AI agents in Copilot Studio or AI Foundry. Knowledge of RAG: embeddings, vector stores, chunking strategies, metadata design. Experience building custom connectors for PowerAutomate or Copilot Studio. Git, pull requests, branching strategies, and basic CI/CD. Experience with Fabric Lakehouse, Warehouse, and Dataflows Gen2. Exposure to knowledge graphs, search systems, or context orchestration patterns.
Mindset & Operating Style Systems Thinker: You intuitively see how automations, data models, APIs, and AI agents connect. Builder Mentality: You prefer to ship, test, and refine rather than theorize endlessly. AI‑Native Curiosity: You explore emerging AI tools and immediately think about workflows, not hype. Clear Communicator: You explain complex systems simply and collaborate well with both engineers and business stakeholders. Growth‑Oriented: You adapt quickly as the tech landscape evolves.
What You’ll Gain A front‑row role in building next‑generation AI and automation systems. Direct influence on XP3R’s accelerators, IP, and emerging product lines. Cross‑industry exposure to challenging real‑world client problems. A fast, ambitious environment where your work is visible and meaningful. Significant career growth as XP3R scales its Data & AI capabilities.
If you want to build systems that think, automate, and accelerate business outcomes and you thrive in a high‑autonomy, high‑impact environment, XP3R is where you’ll do your best work.
