Partnerships Lead (Ads) at Contra
This role is part of Contra’s mission to build the world’s first professional network for independent creatives and the companies that hire them. Contra is commission‑free, global, and focused on enabling the future of flexible work. In addition to our core network and marketplace we’re launching new product lines including Contra for Companies, Contra Ads Network, and Creative RLHF & Evaluation Services.
Base Pay Range $180,000.00/yr – $250,000.00/yr

Responsibilities
Identify, qualify, and close new ad partnerships with brands, agencies, and platforms.
Consistently meet or exceed sales targets on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
Build and maintain a strong pipeline through proactive, creative, and personalized outreach.
Navigate companies to identify key stakeholders, build champions, and close deals with decision‑makers.
Keep customer data, forecasts, and pipeline insights up to date in HubSpot for accurate tracking and reporting.
Requirements
2+ years of experience in sales.
Proven track record in developing new business and adding net new logos.
Ability to build relationships with executive teams.
A strategic, relationship‑driven mindset with strong sales acumen and a passion for building impactful partnerships.
Passion for working in a fast‑paced startup environment.
Location Requirements
Based in NYC, USA.
In‑office.
Total Compensation
Base: $110,000 – $120,000 USD, $180,000 – $250,000 OTE.
Additional Compensation: Commission.
401k Matching.
Company laptop provided on start date.
