Job Description:
The Assistant Store Manager is an experienced leader who manages the day‑to‑day service, sales, and operational objectives of the store. They lead a team to grow and deepen customer relationships, delivering TD’s model of convenience, sales and advice, and a personalized, connected experience. They can lead the store with minimal direction, making decisions on the teller line or platform.
Depth & Scope:
Leads a team of advice and service colleagues to achieve store objectives and legendary customer and colleague experience.
Provides day‑to‑day team leadership to ensure effective and efficient delivery of personalized and complex service and advice while maintaining compliance and regulatory guidelines.
Oversees the most complex or diverse sales advice activities that involve multi‑step processes across systems and partners.
Requires knowledge of financial concepts, a broad range of products and services, business and process management acumen in TD’s consultative approach.
Builds trust and confidence with customers, delivering clear, consultative advice.
Coaches and develops the team through observation, coaching, oversight, and communication.
Drives and reinforces thoughtful advice behaviours, guiding the team toward exceptional service.
Provides proactive advice and product recommendations aligned with customer needs.
Create a culture that supports team success and continuous improvement.
Maintains high performance through performance reviews, coaching & training.
Ensures compliance with all TD‑Policy procedures and regulatory guidelines.
