Job Summary The Project Manager will lead complex development programs involving firmware, software, electronics, and acoustics for QSC Pro Audio products. This role requires strong technical acumen and exceptional leadership skills to drive projects from concept through design, prototyping, full‑scale testing, and delivery. The Project Manager will develop and execute comprehensive project plans, ensuring alignment with schedule, budget, and quality objectives while actively managing day‑to‑day operations.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities (Essential Functions)

Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, ensuring schedule, budget, quality, and specification goals are achieved.

Collaborate with management and project teams to align project objectives with broader business strategies.

Oversee project timelines and milestones from initiation through delivery to meet commitments.

Coordinate cross‑functional teams—including software, hardware, quality, and test engineering—to prioritize tasks and deliver new or enhanced products and services.

Provide leadership and clear communication of expectations to project team members and stakeholders, fostering alignment with company culture and setting high standards for performance, quality, and accountability.

Identify and resolve project issues, implementing solutions to achieve productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction goals.

Prepare and present progress reports, proposals, and requirements documentation to internal and external stakeholders as needed.

Participate in or lead segments of the Request for Proposal (RFP) process to support new business opportunities.

Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and operating standards; interpret organizational guidelines as they apply to projects.

Maintain compliance with environmental, safety, and regulatory requirements.

Safeguard the confidentiality of sensitive information at all times.

Ensure all work complies with applicable laws, regulations, and safety standards.

Preferred Education Bachelor of Science

Skills And Minimum Experience Required

3+ years Program/Project Management or related work experience.

3+ years working with operating budgets, resources, and/or project financials.

3+ years of experience managing integrated software and hardware projects, preferred.

3+ years of experience with project management tools such as dashboards, Gantt charts, etc., preferred.

3+ years of experience working in a large matrixed organization, preferred.

Solid understanding of project management principles, processes, and best practices, including planning, scheduling, and budget management.

Ability to initiate, plan, and manage projects from concept through completion; identify issues, analyze and interpret data, and develop solutions for complex, non‑routine challenges.

Strong analytical, communication, documentation, presentation, and interpersonal skills to drive success.

Ability to work independently while providing leadership in a collaborative team environment, adapt to dynamic priorities, and commit to extended hours and travel as needed.

The range for this position is $73,000 to $130,000. Placement within this range may vary, depending on the applicant’s experience and geographic location. Acuity offers generous benefits including health care, dental coverage, vision plans, 401(k) benefits, and commissions/incentive compensation depending on role.
