Responsibilities
Innovation & Thought Leadership: Champion innovation within the SAP practice by developing SAP AI blueprints and technical reference material, Data & AI/ML‑powered assets, leveraging Joule for intelligent automation, and representing KPMG at external conferences to build market eminence. Incorporate KPMG's functional and industry depth to co‑innovate with SAP, creating differentiating market offerings in AI and Data.
Sales & Business Development: Lead business development by identifying opportunities, crafting proposals, and presenting integrated enterprise solutions that highlight the value of SAP Joule / Business AI and its technical ecosystem—including Joule Agents & Skills, SAP BTP, Business Data Cloud, integration with SAP Business Suite (S/4HANA and LoB solutions), and other relevant tools and platforms—aligned with clients' broader technology stacks and transformation objectives.
Implementation Advisory & Strategy: Lead SAP‑centric AI tool selection and perform current‑state assessment and discovery to define the to‑be technology strategy, build the business case, and develop a transformation roadmap aligned with client objectives.
Program Management: Plan and manage large‑scale SAP AI programs to ensure on‑time delivery, proactively addressing risks, issues, dependencies, and constraints across workstreams.
Delivery Leadership: Lead program design and architecture, guide clients through key design decisions by advising on options and their implications, and oversee backlog planning, build, testing, data cutover, deployment, and hypercare; manage global delivery teams to execute complex initiatives involving hundreds of development objects.
Financial Leadership: Drive pricing strategy during sales pursuits, oversee project financials including forecasting, billing, and margin management, and consistently deliver EAC at or above the committed margin.
Architecture: Assess current‑state architecture and design future‑state solutions by integrating SAP Business AI and technical services—including SAP BTP, Enterprise Analytics and hyperscaler platforms, incl. 3rd party AI/ML—into the client's broader enterprise technology landscape.
Design Strategies: Lead SAP BTP / AI tenant strategy, integration strategy, data conversion strategy, reporting and analytics strategy, and enhancement strategy leveraging SAP BTP and complementary technologies, with a particular focus on maximizing the value from AI.
Business Insights, Analytics & Reporting Strategies: Lead strategic conversations with senior stakeholders to define the future‑state vision for managing business performance across financial, operational, engagement, and workforce dimensions. Leverage Joule / AI capabilities to deliver actionable insights aligned with growth and transformation objectives.
People Leadership: Provide strategic leadership across project teams, driving performance, engagement, and delivery excellence. Cultivate strong counselor relationships within the practice and actively support career development. Promote a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous growth across both project and practice environments.
Qualifications
Minimum 10 years of recent external management consulting experience delivering SAP advisory and implementation services across multiple industries, including at least two full lifecycle SAP Business Suite implementations and demonstrated excellence in SAP BTP and AI technologies.
Experience in sales and business development, including identifying opportunities, crafting proposals, and presenting integrated SAP AI solutions aligned with client transformation goals.
Proven experience in leading large‑scale transformation programs involving complex architecture, global delivery teams, and extensive development scope.
Deep technical expertise in SAP Business AI and SAP BTP, with hands‑on experience in AI Foundation and AI Core, CAP applications, RICEFW development, CDS Views, Workflows, IDOCs, OData services, Fiori apps, BADIs, and BAPIs. Strong understanding of SAP AI best practices regarding integration, data strategies, and intelligent automation within enterprise environments.
Demonstrated ability to assess current‑state architecture and design scalable, future‑state solutions that integrate SAP technologies with broader enterprise platforms and data ecosystems.
Experience in developing tenant strategy, data conversion strategy, reporting and analytics strategy, and enhancement strategy for SAP AI implementations.
Strong program management skills including planning, risk and issue management, dependency tracking, and stakeholder communication across global teams.
Exceptional leadership in delivery execution, including backlog planning, sprint management, build, test, cutover, deployment, and hyper care phases.
Demonstrated ability to lead strategic conversations with senior stakeholders on business performance management across financial, operational, engagement, and workforce dimensions, leveraging analytics platforms and industry benchmarks.
Experience advising clients in both professional services and product‑centric industries, with a strong understanding of engagement economics, performance metrics, and hybrid delivery models.
Proven track record of innovation and thought leadership, including development of AI/ML‑powered assets, use of Joule for intelligent automation, and participation in external conferences or industry forums.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to produce client‑ready deliverables and thought leadership content at publication quality.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in an appropriate field
