Assessment Proctor - IB Exams
Dwight School, an innovative preschool‑grade 12 coeducational school on the Upper Westside of Manhattan, is offering a temporary position to oversee the organization and management of testing rooms for IB Diploma Program exams. The Test Proctor will proctor and administer standardized tests to groups and individuals while maintaining a quiet testing environment.
Hourly Rate:
$20‑$30 per hour
Availability:
8 AM‑4 PM each day. Dates: February 2 – 20 (no exams on Feb 13, 16‑17) and April 27 – May 2 (no exams on May 1).
Position Overview Under the direction of the IB Diploma Program Coordinators and working with faculty in the Dwight School, the Test Proctor will manage testing locations at the Main Campus on the Upper West Side and at the Dwight School Athletic Center on the Upper East Side.
Responsibilities
Maintain daily testing schedules, records, and test files.
Maintain confidentiality and security of all test materials, logs, and other documents.
Understand and uphold test procedures; adhere to academic integrity policies.
Return testing materials to appropriate instructors or agencies as required.
Work with faculty to receive necessary materials for proctoring exams in a timely manner.
Assist students requiring special accommodations, including reading, scribing, or special testing climate.
Report all communication to center staff promptly.
Attend required training sessions.
Work independently and responsibly in the absence of supervision.
Perform any other duties or tasks as assigned by Dwight.
Experience in education settings preferred but not required.
