Expected Pay Range : $150,000.00 - $190,000.00 USD annually.

Role Overview : The Consulting Manager will lead design, development, and support of Workday Extend applications for multiple clients, ensuring seamless data flow between systems. This role involves gathering customer requirements, developing scalable solutions, and troubleshooting complex integration challenges. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in Workday integrations, including Workday Studio, and will provide strategic guidance to clients on best practices and system optimization.

Responsibilities

Provide new solutions through modification and implementation of existing software tools and platforms, and contribute to development of novel solutions.

Build, test and deploy integrations utilizing Workday Studio, core connectors, BIRT, and XSLT.

Resolve day‑to‑day production support tickets for Workday integrations.

Research integration failures, perform root cause analyses, and report back to management.

Gather and create detailed integration specifications, field mappings, and designs to support the entire integration deployment life‑cycle.

Develop and maintain complex Workday reports including custom advanced, BIRT reports, matrix, composite reports and calculated fields, and configure Workday business process steps.

Assist team with integration security audits to ensure data integrity and system security.

Perform regression testing on integrations during Workday releases.

Partner with cross‑functional teams to streamline and automate data delivery and data management.

Identify client enhancement opportunities for existing and new features introduced across new Workday releases.

Requirements

5+ years of hands‑on experience with Workday integration development including Studio, EIBs and Core Connectors.

Proficiency in Java.

Working knowledge of XSLT, SOAP, and REST.

Experience working with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.

Experience with one or more workflow languages (CWL, WDL, Nextflow) is a plus.

Familiarity with Workday administrative functions including tenant configuration, data governance, security, maintenance and system development life‑cycle is a plus.

Proven track record of leading and motivating teams.

Strong coaching and mentoring abilities.

Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with passionate stakeholders and users.

Bachelor's degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Sciences, Information Systems or related field.
