Insurance Defense Attorney
A highly respected law firm in the St. Louis area is seeking an experienced Insurance Defense Attorney to join its growing litigation team. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney looking for hands‑on courtroom experience, meaningful case ownership, and long‑term growth within a supportive firm environment.
Base Pay Range $95,000.00/yr - $130,000.00/yr
Key Responsibilities
Handle a full caseload of insurance defense matters from inception through resolution
Draft and respond to pleadings, motions, and discovery
Take and defend depositions
Conduct legal research and prepare case strategies
Participate in hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials
Maintain consistent communication with clients and carriers
Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of insurance defense litigation experience
Active Missouri Bar license in good standing
Strong writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills
Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
Trial experience is a plus
