Head of Strategic Communications

This role is part of the NIHR communications function, responsible for leading the NIHR Communications Strategy, including overall communications planning, monitoring and evaluation, and creating and delivering an NIHR audience plan.
You will be a senior communications strategist with specialist expertise in leading integrated communications plans and creative campaigns that shift understanding, attitudes and behaviours and build engagement in health and care research across diverse peoples and communities, NHS stakeholders, and the broader health and social care system.
Travel within the UK is required. The role can be based at the RDNCC office in Queen Street, Leeds or in Bishopsgate, London, with a hybrid working model.
