HR Pundits is seeking an experienced Senior Software Trainer to support Aspen SIS training for DCPS school-based and central office staff.
Senior Software Trainer (Aspen SIS) Location Washington, DC / Hybrid
Key Responsibilities
Deliver virtual & in-person training for Aspen SIS users across schools and central offices.
Develop and update training materials (manuals, guides, videos, webinars, SharePoint content).
Provide Tier II user support; troubleshoot issues and manage tickets in help desk systems.
Create user documentation and support ongoing system updates.
Perform QA testing for new Aspen SIS features and collaborate with DevOps and cross-functional teams.
Analyze business needs, streamline workflows, and support district-wide improvements.
Required Qualifications
1+ year training DCPS school and central office users in Aspen SIS.
4+ years hands‑on Aspen SIS experience.
2+ years with help desk ticketing tools (Remedy/HEAT/etc.).
5+ years creating training content (Word, PowerPoint, Captivate, video tools).
10+ years strong customer service & communication experience.
Ability to work independently, stay organized, and adapt quickly.
Education sector experience preferred.
