We are searching for a strategic and entrepreneurial leader to launch innovation through brand extensions into new categories. This role is located at our headquarters in Lake Forest, IL.
Responsibilities
Strategic Vision:
Identify whitespace opportunities / categories where existing RCP brands can grow, lead consumer research to identify new product opportunities and guide new product strategic definition and innovation pipeline.
Business Case Development:
Build business cases to support recommendations.
M&A Partnership:
Partner with M&A team on identification of new growth platforms that complement organic brand extensions.
Portfolio Identification:
Finalize product portfolio, scout and vet suppliers, negotiate terms (quality, cost, delivery).
Sourcing & Supply Chain Alignment:
Align with Sourcing and Supply Chain teams, work with Finance on P&L development.
Cross‑Functional Leadership:
Collaborate closely with consumer insights, marketing, omni‑commerce, and sales teams to develop go‑to‑market strategies.
Pricing & Promotion:
Work with RGM team to recommend pricing and promo strategies.
Operational Readiness:
Ensure readiness across sourcing, packaging, supply chain and sales operations.
Commercialization & Execution:
Develop and execute brand strategies for new product portfolio, define enterprise‑level KPIs and measurement frameworks, monitor post‑launch performance and continuously optimize.

Qualifications
BA/BS degree in Marketing, Business or related field.
12+ years of related professional and progressive product development experience in the CPG industry, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership or management role.
Proven track record of launching profitable and sustainable product innovation.
Solid project management capabilities with the ability to organize and manage multiple projects simultaneously from origin through execution.
Experience with consumer research methodologies and a New Product Stage Gate Process.
Excellent business acumen with experience managing budgets/P&L.
Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills with the ability to influence across functions.
Experience working with co‑manufacturers.
Proficiency with retailer scan data analysis programs such as Nielsen or IRI.
Ability to travel.

USD $215,000.00 – USD $230,000.00 /A
Bonus Eligibility:
