Role Overview The Relationship Manager, Business Banking is responsible for the acquisition, retention and expansion of new and existing loans, deposits, and treasury relationships in the Lincoln Park, Wrigleyville and Roscoe Village neighborhoods.
What You'll Do
Set and meet annual goals for loan and deposit volume, cross‑sales, call planning/prospecting and fee income generation
Manage and grow relationships with businesses typically having up to $25 million in revenue
Negotiate loan structure and effectively cross‑sell products
Maintain documented files, manage renewals and collection efforts on past‑dues and defaulted loans
Build and manage a professional network of COIs and referral sources
Maintain a stable network of prospective customers with consistent calling approach
Collaborate with internal partners to generate internal referrals and develop external network of centers of influence
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in finance, business, accounting or related field
Completion of formal Bank Credit Training program preferred but not required
Minimum 5 years of credit and lending experience combined
Prior B2B, business banking or consultative outside‑sales experience in financial services
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to establish client relationships

Compensation The estimated salary range for this role is $85,000 ‑ $132,000, along with eligibility to earn an annual bonus. Actual salaries may vary based on qualifications, skills and experience.
