Join Genedata as a Sales Operations Analyst and help accelerate the pace of biopharma research through data‑driven insights and process automation.
Base Pay Range $85,000.00 / yr – $100,000.00 / yr
Location & Reporting Position located in Lexington, MA. The analyst reports to the Sales Operations Manager and works closely with Finance, IT, Legal, and Marketing teams.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Commission Management:
Calculate sales commissions and lead initiatives to automate and streamline the commission process.
Sales Forecast & CRM Data Management:
Oversee the accuracy of sales forecasts, collaborate with the sales team for timely updates, and ensure CRM data integrity through regular audits and maintenance.
Process Compliance:
Ensure adherence to sales processes, guaranteeing efficiency and compliance.
Report & Dashboard Management:
Create and update CRM reports and dashboards to provide clear visibility into performance metrics.
Sales Tools Leadership:
Champion sales tools by updating user documentation, conducting training sessions, and providing ongoing user support.
Support & Assistance:
Address inquiries from the sales team and other functions regarding tools and processes.
Quality Assurance:
Test new CRM functionalities before deployment to ensure they meet production standards.
Essential Requirements
Educational Background:
Degree in Economics, Finance, or a related field.
Sales Commission Expertise:
Minimum of 2 years managing sales commission processes, interpreting compensation plans, and resolving discrepancies.
Analytical Skills:
Proficiency with numbers, reports, and sales analytics.
Operational Skills:
Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel (pivot tables, formulas), Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Personal Attributes:
Structured, organized, accountable, efficient, proactive, highly communicative, and a strong team player.
Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
Preferred Experience
Familiarity with commission software.
Experience configuring dashboards in PowerBI.
Familiarity with Salesforce.
Background in sales.
