Event Sales Manager

Event Sales Manager responsibilities: The Event Sales Manager is responsible for selling and servicing catering events. Primary sales efforts focus on catering food and beverage and include menu planning, agenda setting, and servicing hotel catering events. Duties also include contract review and facilitating communication before, during, and post event with pertinent hotel staff to ensure a high level of service.
The Event Sales Manager also hosts hotel tours, maintains strong customer relationships, participates in events representing the hotel, and may lead event meetings and works as a team member with the sales and events staff.
The manager works closely with the sales and events coordinator and other food and beverage and operations staff. Hotel associates work in an environment that demands exceptional performance yet reaps great rewards.
Qualifications

Refined verbal and written communication skills
Must be proficient in computer knowledge
Excellently detail‑oriented and organized
A minimum of three years hotel event/catering sales experience
