The Role The

Senior Salesforce Solution Architect

serves as the enterprise leader responsible for the overall Salesforce architecture strategy across multiple business segments and global regions.

This role drives Xylem’s

multi-org transformation , establishing the architectural foundation for a unified customer experience across Sales, Customer Service, and Marketing.

The ideal candidate brings deep Salesforce expertise combined with strategic foresight—able to assess when to

consolidate Salesforce orgs

versus

federate and integrate

using

Agentforce, Data Cloud, and AI-driven automation . This position will directly influence global system design, data governance, and digital roadmap decisions that impact thousands of users across the enterprise.

Core Responsibilities

Lead the Salesforce multi-org enterprise architecture, owning reference patterns for data sharing, identity, cross-org visibility, and long-term org strategy (consolidation vs. federation).

Define and govern Salesforce strategic direction, advising CIO/IT leadership on investment paths, license optimization, AI enablement, and platform rationalization.

Architect and oversee complex, end-to-end solutions across Sales, Service, CX, and Data Cloud, ensuring alignment with enterprise integration standards and quality delivery practices.

Drive cross-platform integration between Salesforce and SAP S/4HANA, CPQ, PIM, eCommerce, and middleware to support scalable, secure enterprise workflows.

Establish unified data, security, and AI models, including account hierarchies, governance rules, identity resolution, Agentforce/Eintein adoption, and global privacy compliance.

Provide leadership and mentorship, serving as a trusted advisor to global IT/business leaders while developing technical talent and fostering a culture of architectural excellence.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

10+ years of Salesforce experience, including 5+ years as a Solution Architect or Enterprise Architect.

Proven success managing or designing within multi-org, multi-region Salesforce landscapes (3+ active orgs preferred).

Expertise across Sales, Customer Service, Customer Experience, and Data Cloud with strong integration experience (APIs, Mulesoft, Azure, event streaming).

Demonstrated ability to develop cross-org visibility frameworks and evaluate org consolidation vs. AI/Data Cloud federation strategies.

Salesforce certifications: Application Architect or System Architect (CTA track highly desirable).

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Agentforce, Einstein, and GenAI implementations.

Familiarity with large-scale manufacturing or industrial B2B environments.

Experience leading architecture for CPQ (Tacton or SAP CPQ) and SSO integrations (Ping, OKTA).

Exceptional communication and executive presentation skills; ability to influence at all levels.
