About Us The insurance broker is a critical, yet underleveraged asset within the healthcare value chain. Despite being the first point of contact for patients and providing critical guidance on everything from insurance plan selection to care navigation, many still rely on manual workflows and spreadsheets to run their business, and are unable to grow at their desired pace.

Gyde is building an AI-native brokerage platform by acquiring traditional agencies and supercharging them with workflow automation, voice and chat AI applications, and predictive product and plan selection guidance.

Our vision is to be the premier partner for ambitious agencies, streamlining their operations through the Gyde platform to enable their success in the current regulatory and technological paradigm shift.

Our founding team boasts pedigrees from Oscar, Stripe, Vista Equity Partners, Scale AI, and Spark Advisors. Lightspeed led Gyde’s Seed financing, with participation from Virtue and Crystal Venture Partners, and angels from Oscar, Uber, and more.

Role Summary As Head of Origination at Gyde, you will lead the strategy and execution of sourcing and deal origination initiatives that expand our business through acquisitions and new revenue opportunities. This role is less about individual deal‑making and more about building the teams, systems, and processes that enable Gyde to identify high‑value acquisition targets, nurture relationships, and generate a predictable pipeline of opportunities. You’ll balance high‑level strategy with hands‑on execution, working across functions to position Gyde as the partner of choice for ambitious agencies.

This role is ideal for a growth‑mindset leader with experience in private equity, LMM investing, or corporate development who thrives in ambiguity, enjoys building from zero to one, and is excited to manage a high‑performing sourcing and relationship team. You will report to Will Johnson, Co‑Founder & CEO.

External Stakeholders:

Serve as a point of contact for investors, consultants, and strategic partners, representing Gyde’s vision and approach to growth.

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
