Director of Credentialing – Ophthalmology
Novaris Search is currently partnered with a growing Ophthalmology group seeking an experienced professional to lead as Director of Credentialing. You will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, efficiency and compliance of payor enrollment and credentialing.
Responsibilities
Oversee and optimize the utilization of credentialing software platforms, ensuring they operate efficiently and adhere to compliance standards.
Supervise the entire credentialing and re-credentialing processes from start to finish.
Assume ownership for resolving escalated issues with payers and regulatory bodies.
Track credentialing timelines, relevant performance KPIs, and develop process improvement models.
Deliver impactful leadership by guiding, coaching, assessing, and mentoring staff to identify and implement enhancement opportunities.
Efficiently manage and establish goals with a focus on optimizing resources.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree (preferred).
Minimum 5 years credentialing experience.
Knowledge of enrollment in healthcare.
