Join Revvity Signals as a Senior Backend Software Engineer - Biologics/Tech Lead (Java, Vert.x, AWS). This role focuses on the back-end design and development of our cloud notebook product, turning marketing requirements into an easy-to-use, high-impact application for the scientific community. Responsibilities
Collaborate with team members on priorities, specifications, and feature implementation Craft well-documented, clean, and tested code Create secure, performant interfaces and services Build and maintain new, high-impact functionality into Signals Notebook Work with cloud services and technologies Basic Qualifications
5-7 years of professional work experience 5 years of Java programming skills 3-5 years of experience with Reactive Programming (Vert.x) 4-5 years building Web Services and RESTful APIs 1 year+ of tech lead/mentoring experience Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree (preferred) Backend Engineers with Tech Lead experience Biologics experience is highly desired Exposure to CI/CD (Jenkins, GitHub) Experience with JDBC in a transactional application (RDBMS, preferably PostgreSQL) Awareness of performance implications of queries and data modification operations Understanding of structured software development methodologies in Agile environments Strong teamwork, ownership, and collaborative mindset Entrepreneurial, creative problem solver, and innovative thinker Life science, chemistry or biology experience is a plus Please include a valid LinkedIn profile link to your resume.
