(3 days in office / 2 remote days).
Opportunity As a Senior Systems Engineer you will play a key role on our technical delivery team, working closely with a Client Technology Manager (CTM) to drive technology programs, including cloud implementation and support, desktop engineering, escalation, and networking for a defined portfolio of clients.
Responsibilities
Act as a tier‑3 escalation point for Client Technology Management, Service Desk, Engineering and other support teams.
Provide advanced support for cloud infrastructures such as Microsoft 365/Azure, AWS, GCP, and ECI’s proprietary technology.
Implement and manage enterprise mail platforms and security systems such as Microsoft Exchange, Google Workspace, Proofpoint Essentials, and Mimecast.
Perform basic tasks on enterprise switching, routing, security and wireless systems (VLAN changes, ACL updates, key rotations, port reconfigurations).
Take ownership of complex technical challenges and deliver long‑term fixes based on root‑cause analysis.
Document processes and procedures (architecture diagrams, runbooks, SOPs) to support our internal knowledge base.
Audit undocumented client environments and provide technical recommendations.
Apply best‑practice configurations to client security platforms (Azure AD Conditional Access, DUO MFA, zero‑trust services such as Cloudflare and iBoss).
Provide high‑level consultation on information security fundamentals (password hygiene, MFA, social‑engineering defense).
Perform system maintenance tasks including patching, software version upgrades and vulnerability remediation.
Provide advanced support of Active Directory (Domain Controller upgrades, Group Policy, scheduled deployments, certificate management).
Use common technology support tools such as RMM, Mobile Device Management, Anti‑Virus/Malware.
Collaborate cross‑functionally to ensure successful delivery of project implementations, migrations, and upgrades.
Act as a technical lead for small projects, maintaining accountability for delivery scope.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or 6+ years of comparable experience in a technology administration role.
Advanced knowledge of Windows Server and Windows 10/11.
Advanced administration experience with Public Cloud platforms focused on Microsoft 365 and Azure (Azure AD, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, Teams, Intune).
Experience administering mail platforms and security integrations such as Exchange Online.
Experience administering virtualization platforms such as VMware vSphere and Hyper‑V.
Hands‑on experience deploying and managing routing, switching, wireless, and security appliance technologies (Cisco, Palo Alto Networks, Meraki).
Proficient in incident response management during security events and high‑priority escalations, as well as disaster recovery and business continuity activations.
Bonus Points
Managed Service Provider (MSP) experience.
Certifications in cloud services, network management or cyber‑security (CCNA, CISSP, Azure Fundamentals, VCP).
