We are looking for temporary 6‑month, full‑time support to fill the maternity leave of our Associate Manager of Consumer Public Relations for Lewis Cellars and Landmark Vineyards. This role focuses on media relations, event planning, and brand strategy for our luxury wine portfolio.

Job Description Responsibilities:
Develop and execute overall public relations plans for Lewis Cellars and Landmark Vineyards.
Conceive and manage branded special events, media tours, and sampling programs.
Oversee scoring program, trade and consumer media relations, influencer outreach, and media coverage tracking.
Prepare seasonal and quarterly reports and maintain ongoing media monitoring.
Manage third‑party event vendors and agencies.
Build proactive relationships with trade, lifestyle, and food & beverage media contacts.
Define brand voice through press releases, pitches, and messaging.
Lead development of message guides, event briefings, case studies, and award entries.
Identify and implement third‑party projects such as VIP collaborations and brand partnerships.
Collaborate cross‑functionally with marketing, advertising, research, and legal teams.
Work closely with winery hospitality and tasting room teams for media and influencer trips.
Build relationships with celebrity, cultural, and influential tastemakers.
Evaluate media inquiries and craft briefing documents for executives.
Manage day‑to‑day organic social strategy, including UGC selection and monthly editorial calendars.
Create and manage budgets.
Qualifications:
Minimum five years of communications experience in wine, hospitality, spirits, or luxury brand PR.
Experience developing and executing consumer‑facing PR campaigns.
Strong portfolio of lifestyle, food & beverage, and trade media contacts.
Excellent media relations, press release writing, and brand messaging skills.
Autonomous event planning and execution capabilities.
Exceptional project management and multi‑tasking skills.
Strong writing, research, and presentation skills.
Self‑motivated team player with ownership of projects.
Proficient in PR tools: MuckRack, PR Newswire/Businesswire, media monitoring services, Microsoft Office.
Adaptable to change, open to new ideas, and thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
Willingness to work non‑traditional hours; events often in evenings and weekends; 25% travel to lead events.
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, English, Marketing, Events, or Hospitality.
Experience working with wineries or broader alcohol brands preferred.
WSET 1 or higher training preferred.
Pay Range: $90,000 – $100,000 (dependent on skills & experience).
