Job Description:
Works on a data migration project where patient data from an existing application is migrated to a new platform. The tester will validate data across both applications and raise issues where data discrepancies are identified in the GUI/DB. Manual testing will be performed. In cases where the new application differs from the old, ensure data transformation correctness. Test integration points with stubs or the application when applicable. Query the database for data integrity, check logs for exceptions, and deploy builds into the QA environment as required.
Key Responsibilities
Update existing functional, end‑to‑end, and system integration test plans.
Execute test cases and test plans against test environments, analyze and document test results.
Raise and track defects using the bug tracking tool.
Troubleshoot issues found in QA by examining app logs, the database, etc.
Liaise with the SCRUM team on issue tracking and raise risks with the QA team lead.
