Overview As Strategy Consultant, you will be responsible for the development of strategic consulting project deliverables in support of some of the largest brands in the world. You will apply and develop your analytical, interpersonal, creative thinking, business management and leadership skills from day one. Your work will directly impact revenue and will be of critical importance to Profitero’s strategic initiatives. This role will enable you to work directly with clients to help them solve some of their most pressing business challenges.
Who You Are
Ideally you have 2-3 years of relevant work experience at one or more of the following: Supplier / CPG, Retailer (with an eCommerce presence), Strategy Consulting Firm, Agency or Technology Partner in the eCommerce space.
Technically proficient with a proven ability to simplify complex data/technology concepts and communicate succinctly.
Motivated to solve some of the consumer products industry’s most complex and interesting challenges.
Intellectually curious and eager to become an eCommerce expert.
Strong hands‑on with MS Office related skills – especially Excel and PowerPoint.
Bachelor's degree in relevant field.
High level of EQ; you can put yourself in a client’s shoes and operate accordingly.
Excel at working across teams and motivating people with different agendas to achieve common goals.
Thrive in fast‑paced environments with lots of change and ambiguity.
You have an entrepreneurial spirit with obsession for collaborating, learning, improving and results.
Strong presentation, storyboarding and slide design skills.
Excellent project management demonstrated by ability to organize work streams, estimate and deliver on timelines.
You have a high “do to say” ratio.
You are incredibly organized, accountable and detail‑oriented.
What You’ll Do
Drive analysis and development of eCommerce strategy projects, including clear and actionable recommendations.
Work directly with Profitero’s consulting leads to scope and execute projects.
Analyze quantitative & qualitative data sourced via Profitero+, the client, and third‑party syndicated data partners.
Perform first‑party research via interviews with necessary groups, such as employees, management, and market participants to aid in development of client deliverables.
Coordinate with internal sales, marketing, customer success, insights and technology teams to ensure best practices are developed and shared.
Work closely with clients, including leading virtual & in‑person client presentations and workshops.
Drive innovative thinking and ensure that Profitero is on the cutting edge of eCommerce through regular industry research.
It Would Be Nice If You
Previously worked in eCommerce for a Retailer or CPG/Supplier.
Have familiarity with technology solutions within the eCommerce and retail industries.
