Director, Biostatistics – Virology (Bay Area, CA)
We’re looking for an experienced Biostatistics leader to drive Virology clinical programs and make a meaningful impact on patient outcomes. This Director-level role will oversee clinical trial design, statistical analysis, and regulatory interactions, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and high-quality results.
What You’ll Do
Lead statistical strategy for Virology trials and provide decision support.
Act as the statistical lead for one or more molecules/indications in regulatory submissions.
Collaborate with statisticians, programmers, clinical teams, and project managers.
Mentor team members and contribute to strategic initiatives.
What We’re Looking For
Advanced experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or CRO environments (PhD 8+ yrs)
Strong hands‑on skills with SAS and R.
Experience in clinical trial design and analysis, including phase 1–3 studies.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership abilities.
