The Division of Endocrinology at Albany Medical College is currently recruiting for an Academic Endocrinologist at the Assistant/Associate Professor level. In this role, you will be active in clinical care and provide education to students, residents and fellows.
Responsibilities and Opportunities of the division include:
Participate in
bimonthly multidisciplinary conferences
(thyroid, pituitary, pathology)
Exposure to a wide variety of
endocrinopathies
as part of a tertiary referral center
Collaborate with a
strong diabetes education team , including
Certified Diabetes Care & Education Specialists (CDCES)
Utilize an
ultrasonography suite
for thyroid ultrasounds and FNAs
Emphasize a
collegial environment
with a focus on multidisciplinary approaches to patient care and research
Teach
medical students, residents, and fellows
Opportunity to work in
specific areas of endocrinology
(e.g., thyroid, pituitary, diabetes, transgender medicine) if interested.
Qualifications and Requirements
MD/DO or equivalent with board certification/board eligibility in Endocrinology
Strong
commitment to education and teaching
Must be prepared to work in a
team-oriented, multidisciplinary environment
Competitive salary range
$200,000-$220,000
with incentive bonus opportunity
