Northwell Health’s Division of Infectious Disease is seeking staff physicians to join our team at
Peconic Bay Medical Center
in
Riverhead, NY . The Division offers comprehensive care to patients with acute or chronic infections and leads in infectious disease control. We shape the next generation of professionals through world‑class graduate medical education and conduct innovative research to transform our field.
Location Riverhead is a vibrant community on Long Island’s North Fork, offering diverse communities, educational opportunities, and a high quality of life. Nearby attractions include the Hamptons, Montauk, Jones Beach, and the North and South Fork wine and farm country.
Hospital Founded in 1951 as Central Suffolk Hospital, Peconic Bay Medical Center is a 144‑bed community hospital and the largest hospital in eastern Suffolk County. The hospital serves more than 250,000 residents of Riverhead and surrounding areas and provides advanced services, including an Interventional Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory, Level III Trauma Center, and NYS‑Designated Stroke Center.
