Responsibilities and Duties

Serve as the sole provider covering both emergency department and med/surg units

Deliver emergency care, inpatient, and skilled care services

Assess, diagnose, and manage a range of acute and chronic conditions

Respond to medical emergencies and provide stabilization

Communicate effectively with nursing and ancillary staff

Adhere to all relevant protocols and facility policies

Additional Information

Board Certification in Emergency Medicine required

Active Iowa medical license, DEA, and CSR required at start

Basic Life Support (BLS) and Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) certifications required

Temp privileges available (emergency privileges not available)
