Job Overview
CentraCare is seeking Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNA’s) to join our Anesthesia department based in Willmar, MN on a casual (W2 or 1099) basis. This role offers flexible scheduling and the opportunity to add to your skill set with extra shifts.
Schedule and Clinical Scope
Casual position with the option to work when convenient.
Shifts available Monday‑Friday, 7am – 3:30pm (with occasional late shifts).
Epic EMR system.
9 CRNAs, 2 MDs in group.
Variety of cases: pediatrics, OB, epidurals, ENT, General, Endo Robotic, Orthopedics, Gynecology, Urology, Podiatry, and all pain blocks.
Combination of medical‑direction and CRNA‑only cases.
Practice in both hospital and ambulatory surgery center settings.
Approximately 10 cases per CRNA per day at the surgery center; 4 per day at hospital.
Education
Graduate of a RN program recognized by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA) Council.
Graduate of a nurse anesthesia education program accredited by the AANA Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs (or its predecessor).
Successful completion of the certification examination administered by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists.
Experience
Knowledge of growth and development principles across the entire lifespan of patients, from neonate to geriatric.
Ability to observe, assess, interpret patient age‑specific data, reactions, treatments, progress, and outcomes.
Knowledge of current anesthesia principles and practices, agents, equipment, devices, and techniques.
Knowledge of emergency medical procedures.
Ability to communicate effectively with other professionals and the general public.
Licenses and Certifications
Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Minnesota.
Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist.
Current licensure as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in Minnesota.
Additional Qualifications
Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card.
Successful completion of medical staff office credentialing before working without a preceptor.
Successful completion of third‑party payer credentialing before billing for services.
