Responsibilities and Duties
Serve as code team leader and respond to acute emergencies
Perform intubation, chest tube placement, and central line procedures
Manage trauma, STEMI alert, and acute stroke alert cases
Provide comprehensive emergency care for approximately 50 patients per day
Deliver care as the sole physician on shift
Participate in ongoing efforts toward trauma center certification
Additional Information
Nebraska medical license required
Board certification in Emergency Medicine required
Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) certification required
Facility currently not trauma designated; working toward Level 4 trauma center status by April
