As an on‑site, weekly‑present role in San Jose, you will lead our Workplace Services team, overseeing vendor services, workplace communications, stakeholder relations, and opportunities for continuous improvement to create a best‑in‑class workplace experience for one of our office locations.

What you’ll do

Lead efforts to elevate the holistic workplace experience by demonstrating a strong hospitality focus across services such as employee and guest arrival experience, office communications, food and beverage, facilities, health and safety, space planning, office culture activation, office events support, and shipping and receiving.

Maintain and influence effective relationships with senior business leaders and teams across functional areas throughout the organization.

Lead communication efforts for our team, communicating difficult concepts across platforms with professionalism, creativity, and clarity.

Partner with members of the Real Estate and Workplace Services team and other departments to ensure successful completion of special office projects.

Actively assess the pulse of the office by engaging with employees at all levels and sharing insights with the workplace leadership team.

Use independent judgment to manage end‑to‑end workplace operations, create and implement scalable processes, manage budgets, and oversee programs that positively impact workplace culture and employee productivity.

Coach and mentor other team members and provide guidance on complex issues.

Identify, negotiate, and manage strategic vendor relationships and address service concerns through timely feedback and performance reviews.

Delegate and prioritize effectively while balancing competing priorities.

Exercise discretion and independent judgement to implement important actions.

Understand local government nuances and rules & regulations.

Coordinate across departments and build The Trade Desk’s organizational capabilities with other managers and senior leaders.

Maintain a broad understanding of the processes, procedures, and systems used to accomplish the team’s work and familiarity with underlying concepts in other disciplines.

Who you are

5+ years of direct or comparable experience implementing and managing a fast‑paced office or professional work environment; tech sector experience is a plus.

Excellent organizational and problem‑solving skills; solution‑focused, high EQ, professional, collaborative, reliable, and service‑oriented.

Passionate about work, with an upbeat attitude and attention to detail.

Creative, resilient, and persistent in finding solutions.

Excellent decision quality—know when to escalate and when to act independently, understanding downstream impact.

Strong team player with experience working with C‑Suite and executive‑level stakeholders.

Experienced managing teams of managers and/or individual contributors.

Creative thinker who suggests innovative ideas and improvements.

Strong business acumen and understanding of business insights.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in groups and individual settings.

Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Able to respond after hours for emergencies and work outside designated hours as needed.

Comfortable with active duties requiring walking, standing, reaching, bending, and crouching.

Ability to lift 50 lbs.

Base Salary Range: $28.03 – $51.35 USD.
