Job Overview Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
is building the future of cloud for enterprises. The OCI Generative AI Agent Service team is delivering innovative services at the intersection of AI and cloud infrastructure. We are looking for an experienced engineering manager to lead a software team that builds a distributed, scalable, high‑performance generative AI agent service.
Responsibilities
Own and build a highly available OCI service.
Provide strategic leadership and guidance to a dedicated software development team.
Drive execution and delivery of service roadmap, ensuring projects are completed with the highest quality and within specified timelines.
Engage in hands‑on management, address customer issues, manage escalations, and deploy code aligned with change management procedures.
Maintain and enhance technical depth in software development practices and architectural design.
Monitor service KPI metrics, alarms, logging, and overall service health.
Lead the team in Agile development methodologies in a fast‑paced environment.
Qualifications
Experience managing a high‑performing software engineering team.
Strong knowledge of cloud architecture and distributed systems.
Proficiency in Agile development practices.
Excellent people management, relationship management, and team culture.
Ability to drive technical excellence and operational reliability.
Salary Range US Hiring Range: $109,200 - $223,400 per year. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
