Responsibilities

Leads development, optimization, and governance of CCL code, Discern Rules, Smart Templates, and custom MPages.

Optimize report performance and data retrieval efficiency using indexing and schema-aware design.

Partner with clinical and operational teams to translate report or MPage requirements into functional reporting deliverables.

Responsible for Millennium upgrade planning, validation, and deployment, including package installation and domain migration.

Owns code configuration compliance, technical standards, Ops Jobs oversight, and performance optimization.

Provides guidance and mentorship to IT Analysts and serves as escalation point for complex issues.

Supports and provides integration strategy for third‑party clinical systems outside of Oracle Health.

Supports integrations with downstream systems.

Collaborates with Data & Analytics and Clinical Informatics to ensure data standardization and integrity.

Adheres to current coding guidelines and departmental change management processes.

Provides after‑hours on‑call service as required.

Stays current with Oracle Health/CCL feature updates and community best practices.

Performs all other duties assigned in the best interest of the Shirley Ryan Abilitylab.

Reporting Relationships Reports directly to the Manager, IT and Clinical Applications.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required

Bachelor’s degree in information systems or computer science. Work experience can replace traditional educational requirements.

Minimum of 7 years’ experience in developing and supporting CCL and Cerner Millennium data model.

Experience leading package installations, upgrades, purge compliance, and Ops Jobs management.

Excellent analytical skills and problem solving necessary to resolve issues and/or increase operational efficiency of the patient care process.

Project management skills with ability to lead technical workstreams and communicate with clinical/business stakeholders.

Knowledge of rehabilitation healthcare processes in one or more area is a plus.

Ability to mentor analysts on system architecture and troubleshooting methodology.

Interpersonal skills necessary to actively listen and communicate effectively with IS peers and non‑technical users.

Strong team‑building skills to promote cooperation and collaboration both inside and outside the organization.

Work well under pressure with a strong attention to detail.

Experience working within Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office tools.

Working Conditions Normal office environment with little or no exposure to dust or extreme temperature.

Pay and Benefits Pay Range: $95,508.00 annually - $158,538.00 annually.
