This high‑impact leadership role supports exhibit programs, trade show assets, warehouse operations, and on‑site show services for a fast‑growing organization in the live events and experiential space.

The VP of Operations serves as the connective force between client delivery, warehouse performance, show logistics, and cross‑functional project execution.

Responsibilities

Provide executive‑level direction across warehouse operations, asset management, rental inventory programs, logistics coordination, and on‑site show services.

Build, scale, and refine SOPs, workflow standards, and quality benchmarks to ensure consistency and operational excellence across all client programs.

Oversee operational budgeting, equipment planning, staffing strategies, and resource forecasting.

Lead and develop high‑performing warehouse, client services, project management, and field service teams.

Foster a culture of accountability, communication, collaboration, and pride in craftsmanship.

Serve as a mentor and escalation point, supporting teams through challenges and complex show cycles.

Oversee the full exhibit lifecycle from pre‑show planning through post‑show return and inspection.

Ensure flawless execution in asset prep, pulling, crating, shipping, I&D labor coordination, and on‑site support.

Partner with internal teams (Sales, Design, Fabrication) to align production schedules, project timelines, and labor needs.

Act as a senior operational contact for key clients, ensuring expectations are clear, communication is proactive, and delivery standards are met or exceeded.

Troubleshoot challenges with a solution‑first mindset, protecting both client relationships and operational flow.

Manage relationships with freight providers, labor partners, service contractors, and materials suppliers.

Negotiate competitive pricing and service agreements to drive cost efficiency and reliability.

Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, improve warehouse efficiency, upgrade systems, and strengthen overall team performance.

Champion operational innovation that supports long‑term growth and scalability.

Requirements

5–10+ years in exhibit operations, experiential production, trade show logistics, or event marketing support.

Proven leadership experience overseeing warehouse operations, asset inventories, and show services teams.

Strong working knowledge of GSC processes, freight and drayage logistics, labor planning, and show service ordering.

Demonstrated success managing multiple client programs, event cycles, and deadlines simultaneously.

Excellent communication and relationship‑management skills.

Highly organized, process‑driven, and skilled at bringing clarity to fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environments.

Thoughtful, steady leadership that facilitates internal collaboration.
