The Medical Affairs Manager (MAM) will support and execute the global medical strategy for Cryoablation therapy, drive medical education and therapy adoption, and deliver insights to shape ongoing innovation. The MAM will liaise between internal teams and healthcare professionals (HCPs) to promote appropriate therapy use and amplify clinical data. Deliver on the Global Medical Plan by supporting data generation, knowledge exchange, education, and scientific initiatives related to Cryoablation. Collaborate with Medical, Clinical, and Health Economics & Market Access teams to align on evidence planning and execution. Analyze and interpret new clinical publications and competitive trial data; support dissemination strategies. Develop the clinical evidence story and oversee implementation through the field medical team. Create scientific content and medical materials to support external education and internal enablement. Provide medical expertise to Commercial, Regulatory, and Market Access teams; review promotional materials for accuracy and compliance. Lead strategic planning of symposia and sponsored educational events at global and regional conferences. Support Medical Education by aligning on therapy objectives and preparing faculty for Boston Scientific-sponsored events. Identify and build relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), expert speakers, and academic leaders to support educational and data dissemination initiatives. Communicate complex clinical data clearly to physicians and internal stakeholders; demonstrate deep understanding of trial design, data interpretation, and real-world application. Ensure KOLs and podium speakers have access to the latest clinical data and pipeline updates. Uphold compliance standards for all physician interactions and programs in accordance with Boston Scientific policies and regulatory guidelines. Qualifications
Required qualifications: Advanced degree, ideally a postgraduate qualification or equivalent experience in healthcare practice or research. Minimum of 5 years' experience in a medical or clinical role within the industry. Therapeutic area experience in oncology. Proven experience interpreting and communicating clinical data to both internal stakeholders and physicians. Strong relationship-building skills, particularly with healthcare professionals in the field. Solid understanding of regulatory guidelines and Good Clinical Practices. Ability to travel within North America and internationally. Preferred qualifications: Highly motivated and collaborative with the ability to drive cross-functional alignment. Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated commitment to compliance, patient safety, and product quality. Proven ability to work in a matrix environment with global stakeholders. Compensation and policy notes
Requisition ID: 619207 Salary ranges: Minimum $99,100; Maximum $188,300. Compensation will be commensurate with experience and qualifications and may vary by location and other factors. At Boston Scientific, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the stated salary range. Compensation for non-exempt (hourly), non-sales roles may include variable compensation and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and requirements).
