Visa Commercial Solutions (VCS) provides a comprehensive suite of B2B payments solutions for small businesses, mid‑market and large corporations, and government organizations. As product offerings expand, proactive risk management is essential for success and client security. The Senior Product Manager for Risk Oversight leads a global risk framework across the VCS product portfolio. This role advises and influences product managers across the global VCS team rather than owning a single product. Key Areas of Responsibility
Third‑Party Risk: Guide due diligence and ongoing monitoring embedded in the product lifecycle. Credit Settlement Risk: Assess and mitigate settlement risks in new and evolving payment flows. Regulatory & Compliance Risk: Design solutions compliant by design and meeting all legal mandates. Fraud Risk: Develop fraud detection and prevention strategies within product roadmaps. Operational Risk: Identify operational risks and recommend controls for resilience. Model Risk: Oversee governance and validation of risk models used within VCS products. Principle Functions
Act as central point of contact for risk matters within the VCS Global Product Team. Advise and guide product managers on incorporating risk mitigation into roadmaps and backlogs. Foster a culture of risk awareness and proactive risk management across the product organization. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including Risk, Legal, Compliance, Rules, and Cybersecurity. Develop and disseminate best practices, frameworks, and training materials to empower informed risk‑based decisions. Review new product proposals and initiatives to determine if a formal risk assessment is required through Visa’s risk tools. Help teams implement ongoing monitoring processes to ensure adherence to established controls and communicate and elevate risks as appropriate. Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
8+ years of relevant work experience and a Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years with an Advanced Degree (Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years with a PhD. Preferred Qualifications:
9+ years of relevant work experience or 7+ years with an Advanced Degree or 3+ years with a PhD. Deep understanding of the B2B payments landscape, demonstrable experience in risk management disciplines (credit risk, operational risk, fraud prevention), strategic thinker, proven influence across cross‑functional teams, excellent communication, and experience with Agile methodologies. Varies based on department needs. Travel Requirements:
5‑10% of the time. Mental/Physical Requirements:
Incumbent will work in an office setting, sitting and standing at a desk, communicating in person and by telephone, and operating standard office equipment. EEO Statement

U.S. applicants only: Estimated salary range $152,200 – $220,850 per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments. Salary may vary by job‑related factors.
