The Role Veeva is looking for a dynamic executive to join the Commercial Strategy team, bringing entrepreneurial energy, passion for client engagement, and deep knowledge of pharmaceutical commercial and omnichannel engagement to support our customers in their pursuit of commercial excellence. You will shape the value proposition of Veeva Commercial Cloud for Commercial Operations and act as a subject‑matter expert in senior customer conversations. You will work closely with Account Partners to strategize on individual customer accounts and with Marketing to communicate messaging internally and externally. This role is critical to the future success of the Commercial Cloud team and you will be expected to make a significant contribution to the commercial success of our products.
What You’ll Do
Shape the value proposition of Veeva Commercial Cloud, and the Industry Cloud more broadly, to drive commercial excellence for large biopharmas.
Work with our sales and marketing teams to ensure relevant marketing messaging, product positioning, and the success of our sales organization.
Engage with VP‑level and above customers as an SME on Commercial Excellence, communicating our value proposition clearly and handling objections.
Play an impactful role in the growth of the Commercial Cloud business.
Provide input to the product team to support new features and capabilities based on deep understanding of business challenges and market dynamics.
Requirements
15+ years of work experience in Life Sciences, either in technology or in consulting; 10+ years in a leadership role.
Deep expertise with omnichannel and customer engagement programs.
Demonstrated ability to engage at senior levels of client organizations.
Proven ability to quickly build credibility and develop trusted relationships.
Excellent critical thinking, analysis, and presentation skills.
Ability to travel for customer meetings and internal events across the US and Europe as needed.

Compensation
Base pay: $125,000 – $300,000.
Actual salaries may vary within or beyond the above range depending on experience and location. Compensation also includes potential variable bonus and/or stock bonus.
