Our client is seeking a Sr. Risk Project Manager who will be responsible for managing large projects with varying complexity from initiation through closure, ensuring alignment with risk management objectives.
This is a long-term contract opportunity that is hybrid to downtown Chicago.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure adherence to organizational project management standards, guidelines, and templates.
Drive day-to-day project activities to deliver high-quality, on-time, and on-budget outcomes within defined scope.
Lead project initiation and planning, including defining objectives, scope, and risk considerations.
Facilitate detailed planning, execution, and closure activities across cross-functional teams.
Identify, assess, and manage project risks; track issues and implement mitigation strategies.
Communicate clear and accurate project status updates to stakeholders, including weekly reports.
Respond to project changes and escalate issues or decisions as necessary.
Ensure compliance with project delivery processes and documentation standards.
QUALIFICATIONS
Proven experience managing large, complex projects with cross-functional teams.
Ability to manage aggressive timelines and adapt to evolving business requirements.
Strong understanding of risk management principles and regulatory environments.
Pay: 85-95/hr W2
