Operational performance and regulatory compliance. Maintain records and documentation per policy. Assist RCD/GHD in training all Garden House Team Members. Assist RCD/GHD in communicating with families regarding residents engagement. Assist with evaluation of incoming residents and periodic re‑evaluation to assure interests are identified and activity needs are met. Coordinate daily activity routine of the Garden House, including any specialized activities. Coordinate some activities/events for AL/IL and GH residents to include all residents. Plan, coordinate and participate in a variety of dementia‑appropriate activities, social events and outings for residents according to engagement program standards. Order supplies, schedule and set up all activities in the Garden House. Provide GM and GHD with daily status reports on all Garden House residents. Assist GHD with ensuring the neighborhood is clean, orderly and secure in all common and activity areas. Provide assistance with housekeeping, laundry, meals as appropriate. Other duties as assigned. Lead in creating and maintaining the highest standards of Garden House activities. Meet with residents and families regularly as directed. Ensure residents’ activity needs are met with attention to individuality & dignity while maintaining an optimal level of functional ability in a professional and safe manner. Ensure the Garden House team is fully trained in the Inspire Connection activity program. Acknowledge residents’ special days (anniversary & birthday) and arrange and coordinate diverse holiday celebrations. Track resident activity participation and adjust calendar events accordingly. Qualifications
High school diploma or GED (must be at least 18 years of age). Two years’ experience in dementia care. Senior living experience preferred. Must meet all background check requirements. Physical Requirements
This role involves frequent standing, walking, lifting (up to 75 lb) and assisting with resident care. Regular bending, reaching, and physical movement are required throughout the workday. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
