About the Role As we scale, we're expanding our Product Analytics capabilities to accelerate innovation and optimize the customer journey. As the Senior Manager of Product Analytics, you’ll lead the team that transforms data into strategic insights and drives product decision‑making across the organization.
You’ll build and develop a high‑performing team focused on uncovering opportunities to improve engagement, retention and lifetime value. Working across Product, Design, Engineering and AI/ML, your work will shape how we measure and optimize AI‑driven features—enabling GlossGenius to deliver more intelligent, personalized and delightful experiences at scale.
You must be commutable to our NYC headquarters and will operate in a hybrid environment. We default to being in‑office 3-4 days per week with required attendance on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
What You’ll Do
Lead and scale a team of product analysts, ensuring analytical excellence, mentorship and a strong culture of learning and impact
Define the vision, strategy and roadmap for product analytics at GlossGenius, aligning with company and product objectives
Partner with Product, Design, Engineering and AI/ML leadership to define key success metrics, frameworks and methodologies for evaluating new features and AI‑powered experiences
Guide the design and interpretation of sophisticated experiments (A/B tests, multivariate tests, model‑driven evaluations) to assess product performance and inform roadmap prioritization
Develop and standardize analytical frameworks and reporting to measure product health, customer engagement, retention and business growth across multiple product areas
Collaborate with Data Engineering and Analytics Engineering to evolve GlossGenius’s data infrastructure, event taxonomy and self‑service analytics capabilities
Act as a trusted thought partner to senior executives—translating data‑driven insights into actionable strategies that influence product direction and long‑term business decisions
Build scalable analytics processes and systems that enable consistency, speed and accuracy across product teams
Champion a culture of experimentation and data fluency across the organization, empowering teams to test, learn and iterate rapidly
Lead cross‑functional alignment on analytics priorities, ensuring resources are focused on the highest‑impact opportunities for product and customer growth
What We’re Looking For
8+ years of experience in analytics or data science roles, with at least 2+ years leading and growing high‑performing analytics teams
Proven experience building or scaling a product analytics function at a fast‑growing SaaS or consumer technology company
Deep expertise in SQL and experience analyzing complex event‑based datasets
Hands‑on experience designing and interpreting experiments (A/B testing, multivariate analysis) and strong statistical foundations
Strong product intuition and business acumen with demonstrated success influencing product strategy through data
Excellent communication and storytelling skills—able to engage and influence senior stakeholders with clarity and conviction
Experience partnering closely with Data Engineering and Analytics Engineering to evolve data models, instrumentation and analytics infrastructure
Excitement about leading at the forefront of AI‑first product development and defining how analytics measures intelligence‑driven user experiences

The starting base salary for this role in New York is between $180,000‑$220,000 plus target equity and benefits. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
