Join Salesforce as a data specialist in our Forward Deployed Engineering Team, designing, building, and managing the data and integrations that empower AI agents to autonomously interact with enterprise systems. Your Impact
Manage real‑time data flow to/from AI agents, implementing transformations for system compatibility. Design and maintain AI data integration technologies such as RAG, vector databases, search indexes, and knowledge bases. Architect multi‑agent communication protocols, including Model Context Protocol and Agent‑to‑Agent Communication. Implement robust, scalable data integration patterns connecting AI agents to enterprise applications. Develop LLM strategy, selecting and optimizing foundational models for enterprise AI deployments. Ensure secure data governance within Salesforce (CRM, Data Cloud) and external systems. Build systems using message queues, event‑driven architecture, and secure authentication (OAuth, SAML). Develop REST, SOAP, and webhook APIs for seamless data exchange. Automate workflows, enabling agents to create records, trigger notifications, and update systems. Monitor and optimize integration performance, troubleshooting issues across multiple systems. Required Qualifications
5+ years in data engineering, data architecture, or data science. Strong proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Java, JavaScript). Expertise in AI data integration (RAG, vector databases, search indexes, knowledge bases). Deep knowledge of structured and unstructured data management within Salesforce and external systems, including integration, transformation, and governance. Comprehensive understanding of the LLM landscape and its enterprise use cases. Experience with JSON, XML, and data transformation techniques. API design skills (REST, SOAP, webhooks). Message‑queue, event‑driven architecture, and distributed systems knowledge. Understanding of authentication standards (OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SAML). Strong troubleshooting, communication, and independent work skills. Travel up to 30% as needed. Preferred Qualifications
Hands‑on experience with Salesforce APIs and Apex. Direct work on AI or automation projects. Data Cloud or related certifications.
