Senior Director of Cash Applications and Accounts Receivable Insight Global is seeking a

strategic, analytical, and transformation-focused leader

to oversee Cash Applications and Accounts Receivable operations. This role is critical to

performing a comprehensive assessment of current processes and systems (including HighRadius), developing a go-forward strategy to reduce unapplied cash, and managing the backlog of unapplied cash . The ideal candidate will combine

operational expertise, technology optimization, and leadership skills

to drive measurable improvements in the Order-to-Cash process.

Key Responsibilities Strategic Assessment & Transformation

Conduct a

deep-dive analysis of current AR and cash application processes , team structure, and technology utilization.

Evaluate

HighRadius performance and configuration ; recommend enhancements or alternative solutions.

Develop and execute a

strategic roadmap

to reduce unapplied cash and eliminate backlog within defined timelines.

Implement

root cause analysis frameworks

to address systemic issues causing unapplied cash.

Leadership & Change Management

Lead and inspire a team of ~30 professionals across onshore and offshore locations.

Drive a

culture of accountability and continuous improvement

while managing change effectively.

Provide

clear communication and stakeholder alignment

on transformation initiatives.

Operational Excellence

Oversee full-cycle AR and cash application processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

Implement

automation and process optimization strategies

to reduce manual intervention.

Monitor and report on KPIs such as

DSO, CEI, unapplied cash trends , and backlog reduction progress.

Analytics & Reporting

Utilize

data analytics and visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau)

to provide actionable insights.

Partner with IT and Finance to enhance ERP and AR system functionality.

Support the development of

predictive models

for cash application performance and backlog risk.

Stakeholder Engagement

Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Customer Service to resolve disputes and ensure invoice accuracy.

Influence internal and external stakeholders to prioritize AR goals and resource allocation.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (MBA preferred).

10+ years of progressive AR leadership experience , including transformation initiatives.

Proven success in

reducing unapplied cash and managing large backlogs .

Hands-on experience with

HighRadius

or similar cash application automation tools.

Expertise in ERP systems (Workday, Oracle, SAP).

Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills; ability to interpret complex data sets.

Experience managing

large teams and offshore operations .

Excellent communication and storytelling skills using financial data.

Preferred Skills

Process re‑engineering and change management expertise .

Familiarity with

AI‑driven automation and predictive analytics .

Advanced proficiency in

data visualization and reporting tools .

Knowledge of Vendor Management Systems (Fieldglass, Beeline, IQNavigator).
