Pilot-in-Command
Position Summary
Cutter Aviation is pleased to present an internal‑only opportunity for one of our knowledgeable aviation professionals. The Pilot-in-Command will function as the primary face of Cutter Aviation and must be an exceptional relationship builder with the drive to provide world‑class customer service to our clients. The Pilot is effectively the company’s store‑front in the field and is the external representative of our company to our aircraft owners, operators, business partners, and the business aviation community.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Provide world‑class uncompromising service to our clients.
PIC on a C680A Citation Latitude in Part 91 and 135 on‑demand charter operations.
Adapt to rotating schedules and short‑notice callouts.
Ensure compliance with FAA regulations pertaining to flight qualifications, currency, fitness for flight and aircraft compliance.
Follow established procedures for reporting irregularities during flights, ground checks, and maintaining records.
Perform additional administrative duties as assigned by the Director of Operations and Chief Pilot.
Commit to uncompromising safety.
Demonstrate a desire to provide world‑class service.
Minimum Requirements
Previous PIC Jet Type Rating.
3,000 total flight hours.
1,500 PIC hours.
250 PIC or SIC hours in a mid‑size jet or larger (>20,000 lbs MTOW).
Valid, current pilot’s license issued by the FAA.
Current 1st Class medical certificate.
No accidents, incidents or sanctions in the past five years.
Knowledge of general aviation aircraft and their service requirements plus the needs of crews and passengers.
Ability to train the SIC pilot to perform their functions properly.
A sincere desire to assist customers and be part of a team.
Excellent customer service, organizational, and communication skills.
Professional in appearance and mannerisms.
Initiative.
Able to develop a friendly rapport.
Excellent ability to multi‑task.
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Desired Qualifications
Current Part 135.293/297 rating in a jet.
FSI or Simuflite training.
Other Requirements
Able to pass a drug screening test.
Able to pass a background check.
Clean driving record.
Must have high school diploma or GED.
