Opportunity We are currently seeking an

Executive Director

to join our

Value and Risk Advisory

team.

Our Value and Risk Advisory platform is part of a global network of experienced, licensed, qualified commercial real estate appraisers who use local insights and their years of expertise to deliver accurate, reliable and prompt valuations. We provide sound advice regardless of property size, project complexity or industry focus, including financing, due diligence, risk analysis, financial reporting, dispute resolution and equity offerings.

The successful candidate will complete assignments in connection with commercial real estate valuation and consulting projects, which may include analyzing complex highest and best use scenarios, estimating cash flows using discounted cash flow models, analyzing comparable sales and cost analyses.

Responsibilities

Focus on management of team members, workflow and delivering superior client outcomes

Complete an entire report, cover to cover, to a client‑ready standard

Partner with VAST members to leverage support and be accountable for reaching utilization goals for the entire team

Inspect properties for tier‑1 clients, where client interaction can benefit business growth, and/or coach an analyst

Originate 30% of team volume

Attend leadership loop and ensure team members receive messaging

Manage account receivables for work personally originated

Present at local AI/IRWA/ULI/etc. events or publish an article in a trade magazine

Represent JLL brand: optimism, intelligence and collaboration; drive local presence and be the go‑to expert for your sector(s)

Provide solutions

Education & Certification

Continue participation in JLLU to focus on career path alignment and building professional skillset, including people management and business development

Master Argus competency for national institutional team members

Complete comprehensive exam and demonstration report within 18 months of being elevated to team lead, and submit application to AI

Skillset Requirements

Successfully master all Senior Director skillset requirements

Full competency at project management and/or account management; beginning competency at business development

Licensing Requirements

State‑certified general appraiser license

Maintain state licensing for specific geographic focus and pull temporary practice permits when required

Minimum 5 years of holding CG license

Recruit team members

Manage five individuals or more, preferred

Partner with analysts, senior analysts, associates, associate directors, and/or directors to complete assignments

Accountable for analysts & senior analysts achieving educational and licensing goals; ensure production goals are met by all team members

Compensation Estimated compensation for this position: This is a commission‑based role with earnings directly tied to performance. This range is an estimate and may differ; final compensation will depend on qualifications, location, market conditions and internal considerations.
