The Role
We are hiring a CEO to help build Versus LLC from an early stage into a scalable, tech‑enabled multi‑industry holding company. This role is ideal for an executive who has led operations at scale, understands acquisition‑driven growth, and can design the systems, people, and processes needed before and after the first acquisitions close. What You’ll Do
Build the operational foundation of a new holding company—systems, dashboards, leadership structure, reporting frameworks Partner with ownership on sourcing, evaluating, and structuring acquisitions using leverage‑based financing Lead due diligence and build playbooks for post‑acquisition integration Design and implement AI‑driven tools for advertising, financial analysis, automation, and performance management Develop leadership pipelines across VP/Director/GM roles for future acquisitions Build HR, finance, compliance, and operational infrastructure that scales with the company Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow as the platform grows What We’re Looking For
15+ years of senior operations leadership Multi‑unit, multi‑division, or multi‑brand experience Strong P&L ownership with a track record of improving performance Experience building systems and scaling organizations Background in hospitality, retail, manufacturing, or consumer services preferred Bonus: private equity, holding‑company, or leveraged‑finance experience; experience integrating tech/AI into traditional businesses Compensation
