Role Overview: Director of Venue Operations The Director of Operations leads the venue in delivering exceptional service and hospitality to our Players. They set the strategic direction, collaborate with leaders and teams to ensure top-tier experience, and drive Playmaker engagement through effective hiring, scheduling, and development. They oversee all business functions, ensuring flawless operations, maintaining standards, maximizing financial performance, building community relationships, and growing the Topgolf brand.
Responsibilities
Lead the venue by setting the direction for service and hospitality, ensuring Players have an unforgettable experience.
Supervise and support venue leaders, guiding them in delivering top-tier service and maintaining high operational standards.
Drive Playmaker engagement by coaching and developing the team, fostering a positive and energetic environment while upholding Topgolf’s Core Values.
Use business metrics and trends to maximize performance and profitability while building strong relationships with community leaders to elevate the Topgolf brand.
Prioritize safety and cleanliness, adhering to operational standards and executing flawless operations across all venue functions.
Qualifications
Leadership Experience – Managed teams, inspiring, motivating, and driving results.
Passion for Hospitality & Entertainment – Live for delivering exceptional experiences.
Strong Communication Skills – Effective communication with team members, Players, and senior leadership.
Excellent Organizational & Problem-Solving Skills – Handle multiple responsibilities with ease and grace.
A Positive Attitude – A positive mindset that motivates the team.
What You Bring to the Table
8+ years of experience in hospitality, entertainment, or food & beverage, with at least 5 recent years as a General Manager in a high-volume, matrix structure.
Multi-unit management experience is preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Physical Requirements
Lift and move items weighing up to 50 lbs., including bending, stooping, and carrying.
Remain on your feet for most of the day, moving around the venue.
Engage in active tasks such as coaching, supervising, interacting with guests, and managing daily operations.
Maintain energy and focus throughout long shifts or in extreme weather conditions.
Compensation USD 95,000.00 - 144,000.00 Annual (base salary plus bonus and equity)
